Dear 8x8,

I recently bought two VC105 units: one for myself in Southern California and one for my 6 year old daughter in Seattle, Washington. Since purchasing, we have spoken and SEEN each other everday. After placing the phone call, the systems are so easy to use that she likes to make the connection!

Like the other divorced father whose story you have posted, I am able to "see" my daughter and her expressions nightly, and be more involved with her showing me her art and homework. I will continue to see her every 8 weeks or so (I fly there or she flies to So. Cal), but the ViaTV makes for a great opportunity to stay involved on a daily basis (at the price of a phone call). I have also recently remarried, and using the ViaTV will allow for my daughter and her new stepmom to develop their own special relationship. I also recently took the ViaTV to my parents' house and was able to teleconference from there. (Phone lines and TV : everybody's got them!)

Thanks for making this technology affordable and easy to use. I felt so positive about the experience, I purchased some 8X8 stock.
